If you create a contributor account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, and any profile fields you choose to fill in (display name, author slug, professional title, organization, biography, profile image URL, website, LinkedIn). We never store passwords in plain text.
We keep basic session and login records (timestamps, IP address, browser user-agent) to secure accounts and detect abuse.
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
If you publish an article, your public profile fields (display name, title, organization, bio, links, and profile image) appear on your public author page and in article bylines. You control what appears there via your profile settings.
We send account-related email only: signup verification and email-change confirmation. We do not send marketing email.
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
